Pilot Killed in Plane Crash Near Shannon Airport in Spotsylvania County
A 78-year-old Ruther Glen man was killed Tuesday morning when the single-engine airplane he was piloting crashed near Shannon Airport in Spotsylvania County, according to Virginia State Police. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
