FRONT ROYAL, Va. — After more than 10 years of dedicated service as a volunteer and Visitor Coordinator, Melanie Gregory is stepping into a new role as a Director on the Board of the Warren Heritage Society.
Gregory, whose final day as Visitor Coordinator was July 10, has long been a central figure in the organization’s outreach and programming. Her new position on the board reflects her continued commitment to preserving and promoting local history.
“We could not be happier,” said Teresa Henry, President of the Board. “Melanie has a passion for history and deep roots in our community. She brings wonderful ideas and insight and will be a great asset to our board.”
The community is invited to celebrate Gregory’s contributions at an Ice Cream Social hosted by the Warren Heritage Society on Wednesday, August 13, from 5–6 p.m.
The Warren Heritage Society operates several historic sites and serves as a vital resource for the preservation of Warren County’s history through archives, exhibits, and events.
