Every so often, but not often enough, we look through our clothes and pick out things to donate. Stuff we don’t wear anymore, things we don’t like as much as we used to and clothes that just don’t fit.
My wife had accumulated a small pile on the closet floor and wanted me to do the same thing. I kept putting it off.
“I’ll get to it.”
I finally did early one morning after rolling out of bed.
I have more short sleeve collared shirts than I need. My go to around the house is a tee shirt. I typically only wear a polo if I’m going somewhere, and a lot of times not even then.
I have lots of tee shirts. One is close to 50 years old. Sure it’s faded and you can almost see through the material, but I still wear it.
I even have a few muscle shirts from my younger days. When I actually had some muscles.
There was also a softball jersey from a work team I played on. We were the Shockers. That’s on the front. My name and number are on the back.

I heard part of a story on the radio the other day that caught my attention. I looked it up to get the details. A sports memorabilia collector is auctioning off a game jersey worn by basketball great Michael Jordan during the 1998 NBA Finals. The

is expected to sell for MILLIONS of dollars! Millions.
Wow.
After going through my stuff, I picked out a dozen shirts to give away. Mostly polos and muscle shirts.
That softball jersey? It’s still hanging in the closet.
At least until Mike Trout gets back to me.
